Autoclave Routine Testing

1 Day Live Online Training - Wednesday 19th June 2024

This course takes a deep dive into the additional routine testing performed on autoclaves.

The course looks at all of the routine testing performed by production, taking a close look at Leak Rate Tests and Bowie Dick Tests. Delegates will gain a detailed knowledge of these tests and understand the data they provide us with and how it can be used.

In our EN285 Thermometric Testing section we go through all of the tests showing how they can demonstrate value to your process. We will look at how air detectors work and then how to setup and then qualify them effectively. We also go through the dryness tests in EN285 and how we can use this to monitor trend and investigate wet load failures

The quality of the sterilant used in the autoclave is critical to an effective sterilisation process. We use steam quality testing to ensure the steam we use is suitable for sterilisation. In this course we go through all three tests which include Non Condensable Gases, Dryness and Superheat.

During the course we will be performing demonstrations of routine tests and failures. The course includes online modules, practical workshops and engaging demonstrations. We show you how tests are performed and why we perform them.

The course is aimed at delegates with a Validation, Engineering and Quality background.

All modules are recorded and will be available to re-watch here for 30 days after the course end date.
